Iain Forbes is a well established musician, having played in large concert venues across the UK and performing at many smaller venues and clubs. He also has made many festival appearances and has produced three albums of acoustic guitar music. Iain's playing, style and passion encompasses Folk, Celtic, Blues, Jazz, Country, Rock and Classical music.
A concert performance by Iain will include a diverse spectrum of musical approaches from the swing style of legendary gypsy jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt, to the country style of Nashville picker Chet Atkins through to the more recent electric style of psychedelic guitar hero Jimi Hendrix. Iain demonstrates virtuosity through his own compositions, original arrangements of jazz standards, popular songs, and rock and roll classics.
